We are incredibly lucky at Plymouth City Roller Derby to have had the pleasure of being to help out a little bit and get involved with the talented young performers of the British Youth Music Theatre. When one of our skaters spotted that a Roller Derby musical was coming to the Barbican Theatre in Plymouth, she alerted the rest of us and an offer of help was sent out to the production. Some of our skaters were able to visit the rehearsals and hold a roller derby info' and skating skills workshop evening for the production team and the performers.
The PCRD crew were even able to lend out their precious roller derby kit for some of the performers to borrow for their performance. There was a strong turn out by PCRD at the Saturday night performance, our skaters found it emotional and engrossing!
